Just got my surgery bill and I'm kind of surprised it's not more:
Daily service: 3 days x $2,382= $7,146
Pharmacy: $2,126
Pathology Lab: $3,295 (which I'm pretty sure I was already charged for this)
OR Services: $9,551
Recovery Room: $1,220
+ Other (Med-surg supplies, labs, drugs)
= $27,289
Wait until I get the detailed bill from Mom's stay. Anyone want to start a pool. The first ER was about $7500. I figure the ICU is about $10,000/day X 14 days. Plus chest X-ray about every day, TEE, Echocardiogram, CT with contrast X 3, MRI, & MRA.
